About the Department

The Department of Environment Science in S.C.V.B. Government College offers a basic course on Environment Science at undergraduate level as a part of Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course (AECC). The primary aim of the department is to foster environmental awareness among the students to address the growing global and local environmental issues and to promote sustainability. The students are introduced to key environmental concepts such as ecosystems, biodiversity, climate change, environmental pollution, natural resource management, and sustainable development.
